PJ Russell began his coaching career at a very early age with Russell Hoops. PJ spent two years at Barking Abbey as an apprentice coach working with coaches such as Lloyd Gardner, James Vear and Rikki Broadmore. PJ has had large exposure to a high level of basketball and has had the opportunity to coach for both Hertfordshire County and EAST Region. He’s a very popular member of the Russell Hoops coaching staff amongst players, parents and his RH colleagues. Following his takeover of the business back in 2018 with partner Jack Burnell he set out to grow and develop basketball across Hertfordshire. PJ, along with Jack is one of our Founders here at ACE Sports+, and has a keen eye for detail, ensuring that all our partners needs are met and delivered to the highest possible standard.
